<p>A comprehensive eye exam includes an evaluation of eye alignment, focusing, and health. Annual exams are not only important for keeping your lenses current, but also for monitoring changes to your eye health before they affect your vision, regardless of age. A comprehensive eye exam can reveal general health conditions which may not have already been diagnosed and is especially important for monitoring changes caused by diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.</p><p>Children should have their first eye exam between six and twelve months of age to screen for amblyopia. Amblyopia is the leading cause of visual impairment in children, affecting an estimated 5% of children in the United States, and is entirely preventable if diagnosed early enough.</p>

We have colored contacts to enhance or even completely change your eye color. We are also experts at fitting difficult-to-fit lenses for patients with corneal deformities.</p><p> If you already wear contact lenses, it is important to have your fitting evaluated at least once a year. Many complications of contact lens wear have no initial symptoms.</p>
