The artists at ultra-spective photography need you! We are excited to embark upon “From Endings to New Beginnings – Class of 2012” – an extensive community fundraising art project celebrating the diversity and depth of the 2012 Graduating Class.

Slated to be published in May 2012, proceeds from sales of this unique photography art book will benefit the Livermore Valley Education Foundation—directly serving children, teens, and teachers in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District. LVEF is an all-volunteer organization run by a dedicated local board of directors whose mission is to restore and enhance academic and extra-curricular programs in the LVJUSD. In the last 6 years alone, the LVEF has contributed over $1.6 million in funding for programs and scholarships.

Class of 2012 High School Seniors – What are your dreams, hopes and goals?

ultra-spective’s photographic essay explores who you are and who you seek to become!

All Class of 2012 high school seniors in the bay area are encouraged to participate for free. We will be focusing on capturing your diversity, interests, talents and personality while we explore the world of graduating students through photography.  You will receive a complimentary 30 minute creative portrait session and a 5” mini fine art print.  The book will be available as an optional purchase in Spring 2012.  There is no cost to participate.  All participants (or their parents, if minors) will be required to sign a model release to be included in the book.

Sacramento, CA — Christopher Gee, OD, an Alameda County optometrist, was recently named Young Optometrist of the Year for 2010 by the California Optometric Association (COA) during its annual House of Delegates meeting in Visalia, California, February 4-5, 2011.  Dr. Gee was honored for his significant contributions to organized optometry and his local society, the Alameda Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society (ACCCOS).
