Optometrist / CEO

Dr. Scott graduated from UC Berkeley's School of Optometry in 1999. He was born and raised in Livermore, graduating from Livermore High in 1990. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Livermore Area Recreation & Park District (LARPD) and the local YMCA. His wife, Jennifer, is a former District Attorney who cares for their beautiful 3 year old Audrey. Scott speaks Spanish fluently.

Dr. Christopher Gee

Optometrist

Dr. Gee joined the practice in 2007 after serving as clinical faculty at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry. The Alameda & Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society just named Dr. Gee the Young Optometrist of the Year for 2010! Outside of clinical practice, he conducts office lighting research for energy savings. Born and raised in San Francisco, Dr. Gee attended UC Berkeley where he marched in the Cal Band and earned both his bachelor & doctorate degrees.

Melanie A. Mook, O.D.

Optometrist

Dr. Mook is a graduate of the UC Berkeley School of Optometry and has been in practice for 16 years. After graduation, she completed a low vision and primary care residency at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Palo Alto, California. She is a former Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Berkeley with 4 years experience on the faculty, teaching advanced clinical procedures and designing a program to train doctors in new clinical techniques. Dr. Mook is proud to provide state of the art care to her patients, and practices full-scope optometry. She is happy to provide a range of services, from performing an exam on an infant or fitting a teenager with contact lenses, to managing laser refractive or cataract surgeries. Dr. Mook is the mother of 3 children, and in her spare time, has been known to offer them advice on topics as diverse as cursive writing to the finer points of soccer.
